How 1912 Coins Work

1912 Coins make showing up fun. Here’s the honest, simple version of what they are — and what they aren’t.

Earned, never bought

You earn 1912 Coins by participating — posting, playing pick'em, keeping streaks, showing up. You can't purchase them with real money. There's nothing to buy.

No cash value

Coins have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money, and they aren't accepted anywhere outside 1912 Society.

For fun and status

Pick'em, predictions, trivia, and games are about bragging rights and the leaderboard — calling the game right in front of Card Nation. There is no real-money wagering anywhere in the app.

What you can stake

You never wager money. Pick'em, predictions and the Society Book are played with 1912 Coins only — you stake coins and you win or lose coins. There is no way to put money into a coin balance, and coins never convert back into money. Coins buy things inside the community — profile titles, a streak freeze — and nothing outside it.

Duels are free to enter and stake nothing. Challenging another member costs no coins, and losing costs no coins. The winner's prize is created by us and added to their balance; it does not come out of the other member's balance, and no coins move between members at any point.

What coins don't give you

Coins give you no ownership, no financial return, and no rights outside the community.

It's a game — play for the joy of it

Coins are meant to make showing up fun, not stressful. Miss a pick? No money is ever on the line. Play for the community and the bragging rights — that's the whole point.

In short: 1912 Coins are earned. You can't buy them, you can't cash them out, and you can't send them to another member. They buy things inside the community, like profile titles and a streak freeze, and nothing outside it. Pick'em, predictions and the Society Book are played with coins only; no real money is ever wagered.
